Welcome to the Liftfund Volunteer Portal

Congratulations on taking your first step towards volunteering to help small businesses operated by woman and minority owners as they take the HELM. Our goal is to catalyze survival and growth by providing support to 240 businesses, capital to 120 businesses and an accelerator program to 80 businesses.

We appreciate your interest in contributing in the areas of providing education and support to our clients. You will make a world of difference to the participating businesses in your volunteer role.

Volunteers are needed in these roles:
  1. Volunteer Mentors host and facilitate Mentor Roundtables as part of the 8-week Accelerator, with quarterly follow-up meetings through the end of the year.
    • The 2021 Spring Accelerator will be held virtually from April 6th to May 25th and the Fall Accelerator will be held virtually from August 3rd to September 21st. Mentor Roundtables are scheduled each Thursday of the Accelerator from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    • You may also volunteer to mentor to individual business owners outside of the Accelerator on a more flexible basis.
  2. Volunteer Interviewers are needed to help us select applicants to the Accelerator that best fit the program. Each Interviewer will contact business owners to gain additional insight into their needs and capacity for learning, adaptation and growth. The timeframe for this assistance would be in the month prior to each Accelerator cohort.
